As a Hardware Deployment Technician at Sertis, you will act as a face for Sertis, handling the deployment of production and demo AI systems for our clients in Southeast Asia. Along with deployment, you will act as first-line technical support, troubleshooting basic issues, and prioritising more advanced issues to be handled by the Specialist Support Technicians.


This role will be based in Bangkok but will require travel throughout South-East Asia.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Deployment of AI systems for our clients throughout Southeast Asia

  • Transportation of equipment to and from client locations

  • Maintaining control over IT equipment inventory 

  • Setting up local networks and servers

  • Troubleshooting and resolving basic hardware and software problems

  • Working with the Support team on the assignment and prioritisation of support issues

  • Interfacing with engineers to discuss and provide advanced support to clients

What you will need:

  • Experience with Software and Hardware systems

  • Technical problem-solving skills 

  • Great communication skills

  • Good customer service skills

  • Ability to travel throughout Southeast Asia regularly.
