CEO's Recommendation – Books for Business and Self-Management

Bill Gates, one of the founders of Microsoft, was known for reading approximately 50 books a year. Additionally, other accomplished individuals such as Warren Buffet, Jeff Bezos, and Sam Altman share the admirable habit of regular reading.

Reading serves as a gateway to infinite knowledge and ideas. Books nourish and exercise our minds, enhancing intellect and creativity.

Today, we are excited to share two books recommended by our CEO, Tee Vachiramon. He has suggested these books to our team leaders, managers, and all employees, recognizing them as essential tools for building a robust management foundation that guides teams and the company toward success. Moreover, these books provide invaluable insights into managing our professional lives to effectively achieve our goals.

1. Executive Toughness by Dr. Jason Selk

While talents and skills are key to success, a critical yet sometimes overlooked factor is 'mental toughness.' This quality serves as the driving force behind the determination to overcome obstacles and achieve goals. The good news is that mental toughness can be cultivated. Dr. Jason Selk's book offers practical training programs and daily exercises designed to strengthen our mental muscles. Through the development of the right attitude and behavior, readers can transform into mentally tough individuals with a can-do mindset, both in their professional and personal lives, ultimately leading to the desired achievements.

2. The Trusted Advisor by David H. Maister, Charles H. Green, and Robert M. Galford

A must-read for the business world, this book emphasizes the significance of trust and confidence in business negotiations. Beyond possessing business knowledge and technical skills, earning the trust of clients and partners is paramount. The authors provide valuable advice through anecdotes, experiences, and examples of both successes and mistakes. Business professionals, particularly those in the tech industry, shouldn't miss the insights shared in this book.
